Artist In A Bucket With Spotty Paint
The artist had a simple, uncomplicated approach to her art. She didn't like to intellectualize her work - she didn't think it merited it. Punks just say it how it is after all? She is puzzled by the previous artwork in the chain. Unsure how to react to it. She feels like she's been been dropped into a bucket of red and white spotty paint. She is drowning in the paint, overwhelmed by it. Of course to cover up fear, she makes a joke - that paint and hair cannot have perfect white spots like this. She is just an artist, who has difficulty collaborating with others. She is reeling with confusion and lack of confidence.
