The mission of artist #N+1 is to create an artwork inspired by artwork #N either in terms of style, colors or content.

Then, artwork #N+1 is added to The Chain after a Proof-of-Work process that links the hashes of artworks #N and #N+1

The metadata of an artwork contains the hash of the previous artwork, just as a bitcoin block header contains the hash of the previous Bitcoin block
